If a person has to consume 1200 calories per day then breakfast and dinner can be 300 calories each, while the lunch can be 400 calories and the remaining 200 calories can be divided between the two snacks.

In that case, you can take the first 100 calories in the morning before the workout, followed by 400 calories in breakfast. Lunch and dinner can be 300 calories each and the remaining 100 calories can be for the mid-afternoon snacks.
